Digna L. Montanez, LCSW
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a Master’s degree from the University of Central Florida. I am experienced in working with individuals, couples, children, and families dealing with life changes. I also have experience working with families in crisis, the elderly, veterans, and domestic violence victims, and their families. I have facilitated a number of groups including parenting skills and blended families psycho-educational classes, troubled marriages, grief, and divorce support groups.
I utilize a person-centered, problem-solving approach. My priority is to assist my clients achieving their goals with empathy and compassion while maintaining a safe and supportive collaboration with them. I believe in using a holistic approach to therapy, integrating the mind, body, and spirit of the individual.
I have the passion and commitment to serve people, no matter if it is in-home or in-office settings.
While aromatherapy dates back thousands of years and was practiced by ancient civilizations such as the Chinese, Indians, Egyptians, Greeks, and Romans, more recently, numerous studies have confirmed the power of essential oils to modulate moods and emotions.
